Symptoms
PDF Processor based tasks (such as "Normalize PDF File", "Optimize PDF Document", "Optimize PDF Separations", "Extract Inks", etc) may unexpectedly alter their output PDF file structure such that subsequent BRIX graphic kernel based tasks may end up with a normalized PDF output that has unexpected or way too much layers.
Net effect is that an input PDF with one layer may end up as normalized PDF with lots of layers, all having the same name - as if the original layer was shredded.
Note that this effect is only visible in Esko editors such as PackEdge and ArtPro+. It does not show in Adobe Acrobat®.
