Symptoms
When specifying a specific code size and cell size of a GS1 Datamatrix code used in a VDP job, certain alpha numeric entries of the same length as others will cause the error: "GS1 DataMatrix: Datamatrix error: Data cannot be encoded in chosen code type."
Error Messages:
GS1 DataMatrix: Datamatrix error: Data cannot be encoded in chosen code type.
GS1 DataMatrix: Symbol size is too small.
The code disappears from Adobe Illustrator®.
If code size is enlarged to accommodate the problem entries, code size intermittently changes as if the Best Fit option is used.

- Make sure Adobe Illustrator® is not running.
- Double-click the disk image to mount it and proceed with the installer found inside.
