Symptoms
Viewer eventually hangs, giving 'Error reading User id and User settings from server'
Root Cause: Major refactoring was done in the WebCenter Viewer back end to make it more stable when using it with multiple people at the same time.
During the refactoring some new concepts were introduced as well. Oversight caused a resource to keep taking up memory without ever releasing it again.
