MySoftware - Hotfix 202507037 for Automation Engine 25.07

Symptoms

Trying to send larger files with the "Interact with Web Service" task from one Automation Engine (SaaS) to a Web Service Access Point on another Automation Engine SaaS may fail with error "An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine" (or "502 Bad Gateway").

Dependencies

This hotfix obsoletes prior hotfix 202507019 for Automation Engine 25.07.

Installation Instructions

For Automation Engine:

Stop the master Automation Engine 25.07 server (and assistants\standins if any) - install the hotfix on the server(s) - perform an "Activate Server" action.

Be aware that a separate, corresponding hotfix for Automation Engine Agent 25.07 needs to be installed on Agents that are involved in web service interaction.

Important: Also note that a behavior change (actually a bug fix) may occur on DELETE/POST/PUT REST calls now only getting input files attached if the option to do so is explicitly set (which earlier incorrectly happened always, regardless of this setting).

For Automation Engine Agent:

Stop the "Esko Automation Engine Agent" Windows service - install the hotfix - start the "Esko Automation Engine Agent" Windows service.

Be aware that a separate, corresponding hotfix for Automation Engine 25.07 needs to be installed on the master server (and assistants\standins if any).
